I believe that we all have a journey to complete in our lives. I help guide people to be able to own and share their stories. I help them find meaning in their experiences, inclusive of both those enjoyed and those that have caused pain. I hope to get people to explore and accept their authentic selves without judgment, finding ways to navigate the inner and outer worlds in which we live.
The journey that we embark on in our lives is a lot like the environment that we live in. It has peaks, and valleys, and wide-open plains that seem to stretch on forever. It is what we do when we are in these environments that allow us to either prosper or suffer.
Psychotherapy is way to guide us along this journey, providing tools and support to help us moderate our experiences and emotions. It can provide hope and help us get in touch with authentic, yet unfamiliar feelings that are based on our experiences in time.
I believe that each individual has the natural resilience and resources to help overcome the difficulties that arise in life and observe the simple pleasures that exist. However these strengths just may not be known to each person yet. With compassion, empathy, and respect, we can unpack the challenges that arise within our environment and open to the constant that is change in our world.
